3.5

Jacksie Baby... today you are three and a half.  My how time flies.  As we prepare for your baby sister's arrival, it feels like we were just bringing you home from the hospital.  You have been amazing since the day you were born and we feel so blessed to have you as our son.  You are a rough and tumble boy but you have a tender loving side that I treasure.  Just tonight, you let me cuddle with you on our lazy boy chair (was a tight fit with my big belly) and I loved every minute of it.  You are growing up so fast and becoming more and more independent every day.  At times it is hard for me to let go because it means I'm letting you grow up.

You still love garbage trucks and in fact, every truck you have somehow is a garbage truck.  You also recently have an obsession with fire and pretend that the small cabinet in our entryway table is "the fire."  We find random toys, shoes, etc in the fire.  You ask us everyday if tomorrow is a "downstairs day" or a "Ne-ne day" and it makes me so happy that you love to have downstairs days with us as much as you love going to Ne-ne's house.  We have so much fun with you on the weekends even if it means we are just doing stuff around the house.  You are the best helper and are great with saying "please" and "thank you."  We couldn't ask for a better son and we can't wait for you to become a big brother.  I hope you enjoy it as much as we think you will.

Love you bubba.

Sunday Afternoon Date

This afternoon BJ had BP with the softball guys.  So that allowed some great one-on-one time with my favorite little man.  We went for a walk, threw rocks into the river and finished off our afternoon with a date to Blue Spoon Yogurt.  Yummo!  We had tons of fun and I soaked up my one-on-one time with him as I feel like times like these will be limited very soon.

Whew it's bright... good thing we brought our spiderman shades

Cravin Spring!

A couple weekends in a row, we've had some really great weather.  Some get out and enjoy it weather!  This weekend... it's not looking so promising.  We woke up to snow covering our grass this morning, although it looks like it is going to melt quickly.  I'm glad because everyone in my house is itching for spring.  There is just something about it... a fresh start, windows open, clean air filtering though our house. One of the main reasons why I love living in Eastern Washington is because we get to experience the four seasons.  So bring on spring... we are ready for it.

Got one in our coat.. oops

 Love for Hunter :)
