Finally!

Guess who scored this new garbage truck tonight because he finally went poop in the potty? :)

We felt like it would never happen.  Going pee, yeah he's had that down.  But for some reason, he was dead set that he WAS NOT going to poop in the potty.  Well tongiht he told me he needed to potty so naturally in my mind, I was thinking pee.  He sat down and without saying anything took a big poo!  Yeah!  We had quite the little celebration in our house. :)  And then we went to Fred Meyer so he could pick out his big prize we had bribed him with for weeks.

Wild Night

As in Wenatchee Wild!  We took Jackson to his first game last Saturday night and he had a blast!  My niece was selling tickets as a fundraiser for her school so we joined the rest of the fam for a night of fun.  First stop was Red Robin for dinner and then we were off to the game.  I think BJ and I were both wondering how Jackson would do considering his bedtime is 1/2 hour after game time (and he was fighting a cold) but he did awesome.  His number one focus the whole game... Walt the mascot.  He could have cared less that there was a game going on - all he wanted to know was where is Walt and if Walt wasn't to be found he would ask if Walt was on "break."  He did notice when there was a rip roaring fight that ended in three players being ejected from each team (of course).  He turned to me and said "Mom, they're not being nice."  Uhhh, all I could say was yeah, they're not being very nice.  So where's Walt?" 

He also scored a little stuffed Walt thanks to BJ.  And now his fav giraffe has been demoted and Walt makes the trip everyday to daycare with him.  :)

Snow Part 2

It kept coming down today so we had some more fun after work.  BJ stopped by WalMart and picked up a sled.  Jackson thought it was great!

At last

We have snow!!  When we left this morning, I promised Jackson we could play in the snow after we got home.  And luckily, the weather forecast delivered.  We have plently of snow to play in tonight.  I had to talk him into coming inside to warm up.

A huge thank you to my in-laws for doing the first run of snow-blowing on our driveway.  You guys are the best!

10 on 10 January

Wow, still hard to believe it is 2012.  January always seems like a long month, but heck we are already 1/3 of the way into it.  I'm starting to feel the rush of getting things ready for this baby girl who is set to make her appearence mid-April.  I had every intention of working on her room this day but somehow the day became filled with so many other activities.  That's pretty much the way things go around here and I guess that is why I feel like I'm so behind on so many things. :)

First Frosty

We woke up to snow this first day of 2012!  Both BJ and I had no idea it was in the forecast so it was a surprise to us.  We made Jackson wait till about 9:30 to go outside after hearing he wanted to go about 100 times.  So we bundled up and went outside for some fun.  Jackson's requests... a castle and a snowman. :)
