XOXO

Oh how I love these two...

Grandma Time

One of the best parts of being on maternity leave is that I have time not only to spend with my children but also my Mom.  I couldn't ask for a more supportive Mom and I am truly thankful for all the help she has provided me especially since I have had kids.  And Jackson has really enjoyed all the Grandma time too which has meant a bunch of extra attention for him when I can't necessarily provide it myself.

Mom, if you read this, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help.  Your generosity continues to amaze me and I don't know what I'd do without you.  Thank you for your willingness to help give Audri her first bottle and for helping try to break her of her attachment issues.  I really appreciate all you do and hope that someday I can help my children the way you've helped me.

Mama's Girl

This little one has had a thing for Mama lately (which is my current source of stress for when I have to go back to work).  As much as I love her, I hope we can break this habit soon.

Fun Night of Bowling

Jackson was invited to a birthday party at Eastmont Lanes, our local bowling alley.  Luckily, the timing worked out and we were able to make it because he loved it.  At first he gave me the typical "Mom, I'm tired" speech because it was something new.  I knew it was the same ol routine so I made him try it anyway and from that moment on he was having a blast.  BJ and I laughed at how animated and intense he was the whole night.  The kid's energy level is non-stop.  And he's still talking about our night of bowling several nights later.  We're definitely going to have to go again soon.

Some More Pics

I was trying to organize and catch up on my pics tonight (there are over 400 on my memory card) and remembered I have more pics of Audri from her two month mark.  I just think they are too cute to not post. :)

So here's some more pics of our little girl at the two month mark...

Best Yard Helper Ever

Happenings...

There's been a lot going on these last few weeks and being a little under the weather has not lent itself to much blogging.  So here is a little catchup starting with big brother (since I feel like he hasn't gotten much love on the blog lately).

Jackson finished up his first year of preschool at Deanne's and they had their annual end of the year picnic.  The night before, I let him decorate the brown bag for his sack lunch which he thought was pretty cool.  He was pretty proud of his artwork. :)

Audri hit the two month mark last week and is still growing like a weed.  She weighed 10lbs, 7oz and measured 23.5 inches long at her appointment.  And just like her brother, she had a hard time with her first shots.  That night was a screamfest - BJ and I had to take turns rocking her upstairs in her room where it was quiet (she couldn't handle big brother's loudness). :)  Her poor legs were really sore but the next day she was a happy babe again.

We celebrated Father's Day last weekend with a trip up to Chelan on Saturday to see my Dad and then a BBQ with BJ's family on Sunday.  It was a fast but great weekend and we had fun celebrating our Dads.

As for the father of my children, I personally feel like I couldn't have chosen a better one.  BJ is an amazing Dad and reminds me everyday that family is the most important thing in our lives.  Our children are truly blessed to have you babe.  We love you. xoxo

As for me, I rang in my thirties last week with a horrendous cold and on antibiotics for my first ever bout with mastitis.  Let's just say it wasn't the best birthday ever but oh well, hopefully there are many more to come!

Say it isn't so

Two things for this post...

1.  Our sweet Audri is taking after her brother and has reflux. :(  It all started about two weeks ago when she started to show the exact symptoms Jackson had.  So we didn't waste any time in talking with her pediatrician.  She is now taking the same meds Jackson did and the key is making sure she doesn't spit it all out.  I'm still battling that on a daily basis and you can sure tell when she swallows it v. not.

2. I had to clean out all of Audri's three month PJs and fill the drawer with six month sizes.  Seriously, how is our little girl growing so fast?  She is one long string bean...

G&G's House

On Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, the kids and I braved the Chelan craziness and headed up to my parents for the day.  My sis and her boyfriend Randy were there for the weekend so it was an added bonus to see them too!  Jackson had a ball as he played outside, got to take a trip to Walmart with Grandma and Stacey/Randy (where they hit up the toy section) and even took a dip in the pool.  He was spoiled rotten with the attention and fun and was exhausted when we left.  I didn't even make it through downtown Chelan before he was passed out in the back seat on the way home.

It was a great day and fun to just hang out with my fam.  Thanks for having us G&G - we can't wait to come up more this summer!
